CAP Communications, LLC
Allison Caplinger, MA, CCC-SLP
To build a safe space for clients to learn and grow through communication, both oral and written, has been a dream of mine. Many of my earliest memories include sharing stories and creating personal connections to storybook characters. These experiences taught me the importance of oral and written communication, as well as the excitement of a good book! I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to learn through reading and writing. These skills empower clients to become self-determined learners in every facet of life. Therefore, it is my mission to make authentic connections, promote confidence, and build upon advocacy skills through language and literacy with all clients and caregivers.
I have been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist since 2017 after graduating with my Master’s degree from University of Kansas. I am licensed in Kansas and Missouri. I have worked in an educational setting designed for school-age children with language-based learning disabilities, where my passion for treating language and literacy flourished. I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan and settings.
